I can't believe my girls are so grown up! It seems like not long ago they were Joseph's age, and the next time I turn around they are acting like teenagers! Kylee turned 9 on March 20th, and Hayley turned 7 on March 17th. Hayley got a birthday crown at school, so I had to get a picture of her wearing it. She wore it all night.

On Kylee's birthday (Saturday), we had a party with our families for both girls. We had a lot of fun spending time with everyone. All of the cousins gathered around the girls while they opened their presents. They got some really great gifts!

My cousin, who also made the adorable cake for my baby shower last summer, made this cake for the birthday party. It was so pretty that it made me sad to cut into it! Once we tasted it however, it was worth it. The girls each chose their own cake - Hayley chose the top layer, which was triple chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling, and Kylee chose the bottom layer, which was almond butter cake with strawberry filling. It was delicious! Thanks Jenn!

Blowing out the candles...

This is my grandma with all of her great-grandchildren from the Hickman family. It's not a professional posed portrait or anything, but it's a special picture.

Here's me and my siblings, in our birth order from left to right: me, Jackie, Mike, and Emma.

My mom and my grandma.
