Wedding Plans

Sorry that we haven't blogged for a few days, I know we have a few fans out there who want more. But we have been busy planning our wedding and because we have moved the date up, a month and a half, we are in serious overdrive. Just to let you know, we did not move the date up because we are dying to be with each other sooner...
WAIT...or is it?
The main reasons for moving it up was the wedding location and photographer's availability. To us, the location, photo and video are the most important things, and having the BEST DJ. People will not remember who all they shook hands with that day, but will remember the fun they had dancing and celebrating. They will not remember what the food tasted like, but will remember what was served, as long as it is memorable. They won't remember where the reception was unless it was a unique location. And when it comes to remembering these things, why not have the best there is to capture the pictures and video? As mentioned in previous blogs, we are getting married up Hobble Creek canyon at the Pope's Family cabin. We are so excited to have this opportunity to celebrate our union on such beautiful grounds. Just wait till you see this place...IT IS GORGEOUS! Louis, we really appreciate you letting us use your cabin for our special day. We are also excited about having the BEST, hands down photographer shooting our wedding. His style is like nothing you've seen before. Even though it is technically photography, "Art" is what it is. Andrew, thanks for squeezing us into your busy schedule and giving what will be, the best looking memories for us to enjoy and cherish forever. And as far as FUN, again, hands down, the BEST DJ will be making sure everyone has a BLAST! It might seem weird, but yes, I will be DJing my own wedding. If you want to enjoy yourself, make sure you head up the canyon, I will promise you - IT WILL BE THE BEST RECEPTION EVER! ALWAYS TO BE REMEMBERED! To end this blog, let me say...Annie, I hope you know how much I am looking forward to spending eternity with you. Know that I am going to love you with all the love I can. You are one of the "BEST THINGS" to happen to me, along with the birth of my daughters. Even though time is cruising by, July 17th will not come fast enough.
