Sweet Saturday

Our Family:
Annie, Craig, Hayley and Kylee

Yummy cotton candy!

Talitha and Uncle Craig
Craig mentioned that the kids loved the bouncy blowups - here's Talitha flying through the air on one of them - I think she cleared the entire slide and landed at the bottom!
Here is everyone showing off their brightly colored tongues after eating snow cones. It was around 80 degrees that day - the perfect temperature to make us appreciate the ice cold treats. The kids had fun adding their own syrup, so their tongues are probably a little darker than everyone else's!

This is my favorite picture from Saturday (Hayley, Talitha, and Kylee). It's so sweet. The three girls got along so well, it's like they've always been friends! They were definitely meant to be cousins. After all, cousins make the best friends! Now that we know we're getting married here, I can just imagine this exact same picture with the girls in their beautiful little flower girl dresses, hair all done up, standing barefoot in the grass. (They're going to get SO tired of having their pictures taken, but they're just so darn cute, who can resist?)

Left to Right: Krista (Triston is hiding behind her), Talitha, Sabra, Hayley, Kylee, Craig, Mom, and Dad. We walked across the river to sit in the shade and enjoy BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, corn on the cob, cold drinks, and each other's company. The kids didn't eat much for fear of missing out on all the fun there was to be had - surrounding our picnic area was a swing set, a trampoline, and a tree house with a slide, a tire swing and a zip line that went across the river. The kids loved it when Grandpa pushed them on the swings.

It was definitely one fun day.
